Child behaviour

As children grow up, they will start to behave in ways that you might think is unusual, ‘naughty’ or ‘angry’. Quite often these behaviours are part of a very normal development pattern. It can be extremely reassuring to know this – and know how to react when the behaviour emerges. Not sharing, having tantrums, lying, being impatient, having tantrums are all behaviours that do need to be gradually contained but also understood within a broader context. It’s also very useful for parents to understand the behaviours that can emerge through a lack of sleep – since often these can be mistaken for ADHD or ‘being naughty’.
